Our client is a successful manufacturer who has continued to grow and expand their central Ohio footprint. They are currently searching for a talented Manufacturing Engineer. This is a full-time/direct hire opening. They were founded in the early 1900’s and have grown to be the industry leader for products that help people every day.

The current opening is for a Manufacturing Engineer. Main duties include:
- Optimize manufacturing processes to produce products safely, efficiently, and to high quality standards
- Ensure equipment performs at optimal levels
- Use data-driven solutions to continuously improve existing and new processes
- Identify and address efficiency bottlenecks and process shortcomings
- Lead root-cause analysis to drive process efficiency and reduce quality defects
- Define specifications for new and existing equipment
- Participate in internal and external quality audits
Qualifications include:
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering
- Minimum of 3+ years of experience in a similar function
- Strong mechanical aptitude and high attention to detail
- Prior work experience in medical device manufacturing preferred
- Project management experience preferred
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Must be comfortable presenting data and proposals in meeting settings
- Excellent organizational and project management skills
