To support this expansion, they are seeking a skilled Welding Engineer with experience in high-volume manufacturing environments to drive process optimization and support new program launches.

Duties of the Welding Engineer include:
Develop, implement, and optimize manufacturing processes to ensure cost-effective production, standardized methods, and streamlined process flow within welding and final assembly operations
Improve existing welding systems and introduce new equipment, technologies, and procedures to enhance quality, throughput, and efficiency
Create and maintain detailed standard operating procedures (SOPs) to guide production personnel in welding operations, quality checks, and inspection processes
Lead and coordinate new program launches, including equipment installation, commissioning, and process validation
Analyze production performance metrics, identify variances to efficiency standards, and drive root cause analysis with corrective actions to improve overall performance
Collaborate cross-functionally with production, maintenance, and quality teams to ensure continuous improvement and operational excellence
Requirements of the Welding Engineer include:
Bachelor’s degree in Welding Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related technical field
Proven experience as a Welding, Manufacturing, or Process Engineer within a high-volume welding and fabrication environment
Hands-on experience with automated and robotic welding systems in a production setting
