This advanced manufacturer specializes in producing steel products for the automotive industry. Due to the growth in their business, they are looking to hire a Production Supervisor for 1st shift. This is a position for someone who enjoys hands-on work in a fast-paced environment. As a Manufacturing Supervisor you will be responsible for:
- Oversee, mentor, and train plant associates on 1st shift
- Achieve production target by producing quality products daily
- Strive to achieve the highest product quality possible, resolve any issues in a timely manner
- Immediately address production issues related to breakdowns, scrap, quality, process control
- Assist in the development and implementation of continuous improvement and six sigma events
- Ensure safety on the production floor
Qualifications for the Manufacturing Supervisor role include:
- Minimum of 3+ years of experience in similar supervisory position
- Prior work experience in a high-speed/high-volume manufacturing environment
- Excellent leadership ability, great communication skills
- Prior lean manufacturing, continuous improvement, or six sigma experience
