Main duties of the Equipment Sales Engineer include:
  • Prospect for new leads and sell company equipment/machines
  • Maintain strong customer relationships in order to grow future sales
  • Negotiate pricing terms
  • Utilize Salesforce CRM system
  • Train sales reps when needed to cover the given sales territory 
  • Develop a yearly sales plan for sales territory 
  • Follow up with customer after system install to ensure complete satisfaction
  • Research and provide competitive/market intelligence to management 

Qualifications for the Equipment Sales Engineer position include:
  • Bachelor's degree
  • Minimum of 5+ years of experience in technical sales
  • Capital equipment sales experience required
  • Strong ability to prospect for new leads and business
  • Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
  • Ability to travel domestically
