Duties of the Sales/Applications Engineer:
- Pitch new or existing products to new and current customers
- Draft proposals for customers covering budget, timeline, KPI’s, etc.
- Act as technical liaison between customers and internal departments
- Analyze market trends and ensure best sales strategies are being implemented and executed
- Provide technical support and training to operators
Requirements of the Sales/Applications Engineer:
- BS Engineering or similar
- 5+ years of technical sales or engineering experience
- Experience with Steel Mills or Foundries is required
- Ability to travel 75% or more of the time
