Currently, our client is looking for an Instrumentation and Controls Manager to join their facility in Tennessee.

Duties of the Instrumentation and Controls Manager include:

  • Develop and streamline preventative maintenance procedures for plant instrumentation and DCS system
  • Set up standard operating procedures for instrumentation operation and maintenance
  • Manage all aspects of capital projects for instrumentation including budget, contractors, specifying equipment, procurement, etc.
  • Perform the programming and troubleshooting of DCS system
  • Train maintenance technicians on the preventative and reactive maintenance of instrumentation and DCS system
  • Improve instrumentation and DCS reliability through analysis and corrective actions
  • Manage all documentation, prints, and layouts for instrumentation

Requirements for the Instrumentation and Controls Manager position include:

  • Experience with instrumentation and DCS systems within a chemical or related facility
  • Proven experience improving the reliability of instrumentation and DCS systems
  • DCS programming knowledge
  • Proven project management and multitasking skills
