Duties/Responsibilities:

• Assist customers by repairing and replacing parts on plastic manufacturing equipment.
  Work with and review engineering schematics to diagnose and troubleshoot problems with electrical, hydraulic, mechanical and pneumatic machines.
• Perform preventative maintenance and inspections on relevant equipment
• Perform first echelon maintenance using provided hand-tools and other supplementary devices.
  Work in lockstep with Production, Application, and Engineering teams as required.
• Document and report work both in logs and in a published overview furnished to consumers.
• Travel as needed to foreign and domestic locations sixty to seventy percent (60-70%) of the time to train staff for and support our clients’ machines

Requirements:

• Minimum Associate's Degree or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; or ideally, a technical degree in a relevant field from a four-year college.
•  Or minimum 2-3 years of experience in plastic manufacturing or related experience in a relevant area; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• More preference is given to higher levels of relevant on the job experience
• Demonstrate adequate knowledge for the diagnosis and repair of mechanical, electrical, pneumatic and hydraulic systems.
