Responsibilities of the Manufacturing Engineer include:

• Partner with management, tooling, and quality departments to develop continuous improvement
• strategies, improve productivity, reduce costs, and improve product quality
• Assist in tooling design and development
• Assist in the implementation of all APQP activities from initial purchase and planning through the production runs while maintaining delivery dates
• Develop continuous improvement strategies for the project/program management systems
• Act as a liaison between customers and the internal engineering department
• Schedule design review and validation

Requirements of the Manufacturing Engineer include:

• At least an Associate`s degree
• At least three years` previous experience improving manufacturing processes in a high-volume manufacturing setting, with exposure to Lean
• Knowledge of APQP, PPAP, IATF 19649, and FMEA
• Familiarity with metallurgical or metal forming processes
