Our client is looking for personnel who will help take their facility to the next level. They have plans to double, and even triple their workforce in their Northeast Ohio operations. While corporate is providing the financial backing to do this expansion, they are looking for experienced personnel who will guide them through this growth. Currently, our client is looking for a Production Control Manager. This person will have the ability to make their mark during this exciting time for the company, as well as enjoy an excellent benefits package that includes comprehensive benefits, 401k match, and bonus.

Duties of the Production Control Manager include:

  • Create a smooth flow of raw materials to production and finished goods to shipping
  • Lead the development of production schedules that meet customer demands
  • Develop SOPs for demand planning, scheduling of production, and ordering of material
  • Hire, train and develop Production Planners/Schedulers
  • Ensure adequate availability of materials for production needs
  • Use KPIs and other metrics to monitor production control efficiency and make adjustments to improve productivity
  • Be an active member of the leadership team during management meetings and continuously communicate updates with other department leaders
  • Work with suppliers on deficiencies in availability or material quality
  • Works cohesively with other plant departments to ensure 100% on time delivery of products
  • Work with production to resolve any discrepancies related to production schedules

Requirements for the Production Control Manager include:

  • A Bachelor’s Degree
  • Previous experience leading the planning, scheduling, and inventory control
  • Experience working with an ERP or MRP system
  • Collaborative personality
  • Experience using data and KPIs to improve productivity.
  • Proven leadership skills and the ability to create positive direction for the department
