Our client is a provider of complete automation systems and have been in business since the early 1990’s. They recently completed a major building expansion that nearly doubled the size of their facility. They are growing rapidly and are searching for a talented Field Service Engineer to join their team. In this position, you will be a highly compensated employee and have the opportunity to make a major impact and difference for this successful systems integrator.
Main duties of the Field Service Engineer include:
- Travel domestically to assist in the electrical troubleshooting and support of equipment driven by PLC's, robotics, and other automation
- Assist large-scale capital equipment installation, set up, and training while at client sites
- Testing and maintenance on equipment when not traveling to client sites
- High school diploma or GED, technical degree preferred
- Willingness to travel approximately 60-80% of the time
- Ability to troubleshoot and repair PLC’s and other controls
- Experience in equipment runoff, debug, and installation
- Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
