Our client is a global manufacturer of plastic consumer products used in everyday life. They are family-owned and operated and have been around for over 50 years. Their Georgia manufacturing facility is growing, and they are looking to add a new Engineering Manager to their team. This company offers excellent benefits and a close-knit team environment.

Main duties of the Quality Engineer include:

• Ensure all quality of products and processes is meeting all quality standards
• Utilize 5S, Lean, and CI to aid in improving overall plant quality
• Lead all APQP and PPAP processes and submissions
• Program CMM when necessary
• Root Cause and Corrective Actions to reduce quality defects
• Work with customers and suppliers daily to ensure quality is met

Qualifications include:

• BS degree in a technical field (strongly desired)
• At least 2-5 years of experience as a Quality Engineer in manufacturing
• APQP and PPAP experience is required
• CMM experience is strongly desired
