Main duties of the Production/Operations Manager include:
- Directly oversee/lead a team of 4-5 Fabrication Supervisors, while reporting directly to the Plant Manager
- Ensure the plant operations are meeting all company safety and quality guidelines and benchmarks
- Work closely with Maintenance to ensure all machines are up and running properly and consistently
- Use Lean, Six Sigma and Kaizen techniques to improve processes and overall operations
- Aid in new product launch activities, working closely with key suppliers and customers thru launch activities
- BS degree ideal but not required
- Strong plant leadership experience, ideally automotive
- Strong Lean/Six Sigma experience
