Due to growth, our client is currently searching for a Plastics Process Technician for their 3rd shift. You will be able to utilize your engineering/technical mind to solve problems, increase production, and move the company forward in the right direction.
Main duties of the Plastics Process Technician include:
- Support the injection molding department to implement process improvements
- Look for ways to cut costs in production, reduce scrap, and implement other continuous improvement activities
- Troubleshoot equipment, tooling, and materials issues
- Update production documentation
- Read blueprints, CAD drawings Generate reports regarding scrap rates, capacity, and more
Qualifications for the Plastics Process Technician position include:
- 1-3+ years of experience working for a plastics manufacturer
- Prior background in injection molding, extrusion, or other plastics process acceptable
- Excellent knowledge of tooling
- Strong mechanical abilities
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
