Our client is growing! They have approximately 600 employees in NW Ohio, but are now part of a global organization that employs thousands of people. The current opening is for a Sr. Tax Accountant. Main duties include:
- Responsible for Tax Strategy and keep abreast of laws
- Tax Code Compliance
- Perform variance analysis
- Assist in the development of the annual budget
- Design and prepare ad hoc reports
- Assist in the creation of the monthly forecast
- Assist with both internal and external audits
- B.S. degree in Accounting, Finance, or similar field
- Minimum of 3+ years of experience in a similar function
- CPA or MBA is preferred, but not required
- Prior work experience at a manufacturing company
- ERP experience
- Strong background utilizing Excel
- Must possess strong organizational skills, highly analytical
- Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
