This manufacturing company has been successful locally and globally for decades. They are currently growing and expanding into new markets. Their business continues to grow, and they are adding talented individuals to their team to continue their high level of success. This is a new position to lead a group of engineers to help achieve the corporation goals.
As the Engineering Manager, you will be responsible for:
- Utilizing your engineering experience within a manufacturing operation to drive successful processes
- Leading and driving strategic initiatives and KPIs within the assembly operation
- Driving formal lean continuous improvement processes such as Value Steam mapping, 5S, etc.
- Mentoring and leading a group of engineers
- Launching new models into manufacturing
- Ensuring safety, quality, and successful delivery to the customers
- Developing and managing budgets and presentations
To be considered for this Engineering Manager, you must have:
- A BS in Engineering
- Proven experience leading process improvements using Lean, Six Sigma, Kaizen, etc.
- Excellent organization and communication skills and the ability to multi-task
- A leader by example
