Duties and responsibilities of the Design/Development Engineer include:
- Working with customers to determine development/design of product
- Concept/prototype design
- Eliminate and resolve product issues through designs
- Optimizing designs for manufacturability and cost
- Design modifications, changes and updates
- Project engineering
- Experience with 3D modeling software
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering (BSME), along with at least co-ops or internship experience
- Excellent communication skills
- Experience with plastics, rubber or similar is a plus
- Experience either working for an automotive manufacturer or working on your own car is highly desired
- Go-getter: can keep up in a fast-paced setting
