Due to growth, our client is currently searching for a couple Process Engineers to support their off-shift operations. The current opening is for a Process Engineer. Main duties include:
- Develop and implement process improvement events to reduce costs, improve safety, and increase manufacturing efficiency
- Search for ways to reduce machine downtime
- Improve tooling and equipment
- Analyze scrap and labor and recommend countermeasures
- Perform training related to lean and continuous improvement initiatives
Qualifications include:
- B.S. degree in Engineering preferred, or equivalent experience
- Prior background in a plastics manufacturing environment a plus
- Ability to be a hands-on problem-solver
- Excellent documentation skills
- Strong mathematical aptitude, highly analytical
- Excellent computer skills to include Microsoft Office
- Ability to work either 2nd or 3rd shift
