Responsibilities of the Production Manager include:
- Utilize interpersonal and organizational skills to lead operations high-volume, automotive manufacturing environment
- In coordination with the Operations manager, have responsibility for metrics including production, quality, and profitability
- Use Lean methodology to ensure production efficiencies
- Plan and supervise daily production and scheduling
- Assist in preparing plant financial reports and audits
Requirements of the Production Manager include:
- A Bachelor`s degree in Operations Management, Engineering or similar preferred but not required
- Previous experience leading manufacturing and personnel functions in a production environment
- Experience with high-volume production, preferably automotive
