Duties and responsibilities of the Controller include:
- Leading the accounting and finance functions of the company including cost centers, projects, free cash flow and customer orders
- Analyzing and verifying requests, plant KPI, data, BOM, business opportunities, margins, etc.
- Overseeing the daily operations of all accounting activities
- Month end and year end closings
- Leading physical inventories
- Achieving financial targets
- Developing and planning budgets
- Coordinating and completing financial audits
- Improving the accuracy of company`s financial reporting
- Reviewing and monitoring company costs
Qualifications of the Controller include:
- Bachelor`s degree in Accounting or Finance
- Minimum of 5+ year`s previous experience in a similar function in a manufacturing facility
- Experience with SAP or other ERP
- Strong communication skills both verbal and written
- Advanced computer skills with MS Office and other accounting software
- Effective knowledge of accounting principles, practices, standards, and regulations Local candidates are preferred but relocation assistance may be provided
