Our client is in need of a Production Manager to lead their team. This is a first shift, M-F position, but you will be overseeing a 24/7 operation.
As Production Manager, you will be responsible for:
- Meeting and/or exceeding production goals
- Ensuring plant safety and product quality
- Implementing continuous improvements
- Coaching, training and mentoring employees
- Driving a team environment
- Complying with OSHA standards
- Setting and implementing goals and expectations
- Analyzing data
- Developing KPI
- A BS in Engineering, along with at least 7 years of previous applicable experience
- Strong leadership skills; excellent communication skills
- Able to work with multiple plant departments in this 24/7 manufacturing facility
- Able to drive change and accountability
- Experience with Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma
- Experience with ERP; SAP is preferred but not required
