This company is newer to the area but well-established across the globe. They manufacture high-quality products for the automotive industry and are looking to add a Welding Engineer to their team. They offer great benefits and a team atmosphere.
As Welding Engineer, you will be responsible for:
- Leading all welding projects to enable the manufacturing of new products
- Developing and improving welding equipment, processes, techniques, etc.
- Creating welding procedures and writing reports
- Ensuring correct weld requirements
- Overseeing inspections and testing
- Using Lean Manufacturing methods
- Maintaining safety
To be considered for the Welding Engineer position, you must have:
- At least 2 years of previous welding engineering experience in automotive manufacturing; experience with controls and robots is preferred
- Hands-on; this is not an office role
- Excellent communication skills. Have drive and ambition
