Our client is a systems integrator who has a history of success dating back to the mid-1970’s. They are searching for an experienced Sales Engineer to join their sales team. You will receive great base compensation along with an annual bonus and great benefits.
The current opening is for a Sales Engineer. Main duties include:
- Perform business development activities as well as account management for current customers
- Develop new sales projects and negotiate contracts
- Meet customers’ to fully understand their service or design needs
- Negotiate pricing, terms, and conditions
- Travel within the Midwest to meet with customers, approximately 25% travel
- B.S. degree preferred, but not required in lieu of relevant work experience
- Minimum of 3+ years of experience in industrial/technical sales
- Past work experience in a machine builder/systems integrator field preferred, not required
- Experience with controls, automation, or electrical products helpful
- Mechanical aptitude
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to travel to customer locations approximately 25% of the time
