Our client is a top industry player that designs and services automated industrial machinery, with their equipment dominating the market. Due to their continued growth and high demand for their unique equipment, they are seeking a talented Field Automation Engineer to join their team.
As a Field Automation Engineer, you will be working from home and travelling to customer sites, mainly within the Eastern US region. This position will require you to provide onsite service, installation and troubleshooting of automated equipment, program and troubleshoot various PLCs, HMIs, Robots, and drives, as well as work closely with customers, engineers, and maintenance technicians to provide solutions.

Qualifications:
- Experience programming PLC and other automated equipment
- Good work history, positive attitude, and self-directed
- Knowledge of electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems
- Superb customer service skills with the ability to serve as the face of the company
- Ability to travel 80-90% of the time, mostly regional with occasional nationwide travel
