As EHS Specialist, you will be responsible for:
- Ensuring all plant safety
- Developing, implementing and maintaining safety and environmental policies
- Employee training
- Investigating safety and environmental issues and developing countermeasures
- Ensuring ISO and OSHA compliance
- Improving the EHS department
- Conducting safety audits within the plant and on equipment
- Ensuring the correct handling hazardous waste
- Reporting incidents/accidents; determining root cause analysis
Requirements for the EHS Specialist:
- Previous environmental, health and safety experience in a manufacturing facility
- Experience with ISO14001
- Hands on; excellent communication skills; a go-getter
