Main duties of the Mechanical Project Engineer include:

• Lead budgeting and project timelines for major automation (robotic material handling) and tooling installation projects
• Work with vendors and suppliers for new equipment projects
• Write capital expenditure requests for Sr. Management
• Provide support for the development of new manufacturing processes
• Aid in designing new tooling and fixtures for manufacturing processes
• Create new layout and flow of materials for CNC machining processes

Qualifications include:

• BS degree in an engineering field is required
• Strong CNC/Tooling experience desired
• Experience using CAD to develop new tooling and create plant layouts
• Lean/Six Sigma experience to improve processes
