Our client is a large manufacturing organization supplying to the automotive industry throughout the country, including both Japanese and American automotive.    They offer extremely good benefits, relocation assistance, the plant is non-union, and they provide a ton of opportunity to grow from within. 
The plant near Portage has over 300 employees and has been growing rapidly since the mid 90’s. 

Main duties of the Production Manager include:

• Plan, direct and lead all production processes
• Directly supervise a team of 5 Supervisors and 10 Team Leads
• Ensure quality, production, maintenance and safety goals are met consistently
• Utilize Lean/Six Sigma methods to aid in improving processes

Qualifications include:

• At least an AS degree
• Minimum of 8-10 years in a plant leadership role (especially high volume, fast paced)
• Strong Lean mindset
