The current opening is for a Maintenance Manager. Main duties include:
Lead/manage the entire department, approximately 7 direct reports
Oversee, train, and mentor the Union workforce in the maintenance department
Responsible for maintaining all equipment
Identify, plan, and implement a robust preventative maintenance plan
Provide root-cause analysis for equipment failures and develop appropriate solutions
Create the weekly work schedule for Union employees
Perform all administrative duties as necessary
Minimum qualifications of the Maintenance Manager:
A 2-year degree in a technical field or higher is preferred, or equivalent work experience
Prior experience managing an hourly Union workforce
Prior experience managing a department
Strong background providing a safe and accident-free work environment
Experience utilizing Excel and Oracle preferred
Must be a strong problem-solver, critical-thinker, analytical
Excellent communication and leadership ability
