Our client is a systems integrator in the Dayton, OH area. Their business is booming and they are looking to hire another Design Engineer due to increased demand. The current opening is for a Design Engineer. Main duties include:
Design and development of industrial equipment and systems
Aid in the retrofit and repair of machinery and systems
Utilize Autodesk Inventor for machine design
Travel to customer sites when necessary, travel is minimal
Go on the shop floor as necessary
Qualifications include:
B.S. in Mechanical Engineering or similar technical degree
3D CAD experience
Prior work experience in machine design and equipment build preferred
Ability to travel to customer jobsites as necessary, travel will be minimal
Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
Strong mechanical aptitude
