Main duties of the Sr. Tooling Specialist include:
- Lead the development, repair and maintenance of molds, jigs and fixtures used in plastic injection molding
- Read technical drawing and blueprints to determine what tooling parts are needed for projects
- Use Root Cause Analysis tools to aid in the improvement of tooling procedures
- Work closely with New Product Development teams on all tooling matters
- Assist maintenance with PM development for tooling
Qualifications include:
- Strong tooling experience (ideally within injection molding processes)
- Experience leading tooling/jig/fixture repair and maintenance
- Strong Root Cause/Quality improvement experience
