Our client is a global leading automotive manufacturing organization. They have over 50 manufacturing sites in over 20 countries across the globe. They have won environmental awards and are considered among the fastest growing automotive suppliers in the United States. Their manufacturing plant in Ohio has been growing in recent years. It’s a non-union plant that has tremendous leadership in place, values work/life balance and offers incredible benefits to their employees.
They are currently looking to hire an Operations Manager in their Findlay, OH area facility.
Main duties of the Operations Manager include:
- Directly leading a team of Production Supervisors (7-10)
- Manage capital equipment projects (including the budgeting)
- Work closely with Maintenance to develop and enhance the PM programs
- Ensure all plant safety and quality goals are met
- Work closely with EH&S to ensure EH&S policies are being followed
- Use CI/Lean and Six Sigma methods to help optimize processes
- Ensure machines are running efficiently
Qualifications include:
- BS degree highly desired, but not required
- Strong plant leadership (experience leading other Supervisors is required)
- Exceptional leadership skills
