The current opening is for a Cost Estimator. Main duties include:
- Estimate industrial machinery cost
- Write technical proposals
- Contact vendors for material pricing
- Collaborate with engineers for concept development
- Develop job budgets
- Attend engineering design review meetings
- Utilize Microsoft Excel on a daily basis
Qualifications include:
- Minimum of 2+ years of experience in a similar job function
- Strong experience with Microsoft Office, especially Excel
- Basic CAD knowledge
- Mechanical-aptitude, technical know-how preferred
- Strong mathematical and reasoning ability
- High school diploma
- Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
