About the Opportunity:
Our client, a leading manufacturer, is seeking a highly skilled Logistics Manager to oversee logistics activities and ensure compliance with regulatory standards. This role is essential in managing carrier performance, optimizing freight routing, and driving cost-saving initiatives, all while maintaining seamless supply chain operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage freight contracts, carrier performance, and cost audits to ensure optimal logistics operations.
• Develop and maintain efficient freight routes and supplier capability matrices.
• Oversee compliance with all FTC, US Customs, and Border Protection regulations, including initiatives like C-TPAT, ISF, AES, and TSA.
• Communicate logistics risks, implement contingency plans, and resolve claims related to logistics.
• Drive strategic planning and execution of logistics goals, focusing on cost savings and sustainability.

Qualifications:

• 5+ years of experience in domestic and import/export logistics, with proven results.
• Expertise in US Customs compliance, C-TPAT, NAFTA, and other Free Trade Agreements.
• Strong skills in Microsoft Office and strategic planning aligned with organizational objectives.
• Proven ability to execute annual operations plans and manage risk effectively.
