About the Role:
Our client is seeking a Quality Engineer to join their team, assisting the Senior Quality Manager in driving strategic improvements in plant safety, quality, and efficiency. This position plays a key role in ensuring products and processes meet high-quality standards and robust engineering guidelines.

Key Responsibilities:

• Analyze failures and implement corrective and preventive actions for customer complaints.
• Lead root cause analysis and corrective action efforts using tools like 8D, 5-Why, and Fishbone diagrams.
• Troubleshoot product and process issues and lead continuous improvement initiatives (e.g., 5S, Kaizen).
• Develop and review quality documentation, including First Article Inspection, PFMEA, control plans, and process validations.
• Monitor and report quality metrics and performance.
• Drive supplier development, validation, and supplier quality improvements.
• Facilitate resolution of supplier failures and manage Supplier Corrective Action Requests (SCARs).
• Identify and implement cost, efficiency, quality, and safety improvement projects.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Quality, Industrial, or Mechanical Engineering.
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in quality engineering or continuous improvement.
• Familiarity with quality systems auditing, Six Sigma principles, FMEA, PPAP, and SPC.
• 1 year of experience in a manufacturing environment (preferred).
• ISO or IATF experience (preferred).
• ASQ or Six Sigma Black Belt certification (preferred).
