Our client is a leading automotive supplier with a wide range of customers. They are a state-of-the-art manufacturer with a top-notch R&D center. They are looking to add a Purchasing Manager to their team.
As Purchasing Manager, you will be responsible for:
Developing purchasing strategies
Sourcing new suppliers
Managing current suppliers and relationships
Leading contract negotiations
Leading cost savings and identifying areas of improvement
Overseeing 2 others within the purchasing department
To be considered for the Purchasing Manager position you must have:
A four year degree, along with at least 3 years of previous purchasing experience within an automotive manufacturing facility
Previous experience sourcing and working with suppliers/vendors for the automotive industry
Excellent communication and negotiation skills
Previous sourcing experience
Experience with Office and ERP
