Our client is a large tier-1 automotive supplier with manufacturing locations across North America. They have a manufacturing facility north of Dayton, OH where they employee over 800 full-time employees. The current opening is for a Facilities Technician. Main duties include:
- Perform facilities maintenance tasks related to building, HVAC, plumbing, piping
- Evaluate and recommend equipment improvements in order to maintain facilities and equipment
- Assist with machine installations and setup
- Perform maintenance tasks for air compressors, air dryers, cooling towers, pumps, and more
- Exterior maintenance includes grounds, building exterior, seasonal lawn care, snow removal
- Operate forklifts, aerial lifts, cranes, and other powered industrial equipment
Qualifications include:
- A.S. degree or certification preferred, high school diploma or GED required
- Ability to work both inside and outside, ability to work in all weather conditions
- Ability to work 2nd shift, OT and weekends as needed
- Excellent communications skills both verbal and written
