As Buyer/Planner, you will be responsible for:
Working with suppliers and developing relationships
Negotiating costs, contracts and price and preparing RFQ
Using JIT and KanBan methodologies
Evaluating and reducing costs
Determining raw material requirements
Supporting ECN and managing new parts and/or revisions
Preparing inventory reports
Using an ERP system

To be considered for the Buyer/Planner position, you must have:
A BS degree, along with at least 2 years of previous Buyer/Planner experience in a manufacturing environment
Experience with ERP.  QAD and Excel are highly preferred
Excellent communication and organizational skills; strong attention to detail
Experience with JIT, FIFO, KanBan, etc.
Some relocation assistance may be provided
