Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced professional to manage the engineering processes necessary for the design, development, delivery, and servicing of Automation equipment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Project Planning: Assist in defining project timelines and determining required manpower to meet project goals.
- Engineering Leadership: Lead and collaborate on mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic engineering design efforts.
- Control Systems: Oversee the creation and troubleshooting of PLC control systems, Safety PLC, HMI, and Servo Motion programs.
- Robot Programming: Lead teams in the design, creation, and troubleshooting of robotic programs.
- System Start-up and Debugging: Support complex system start-ups, de-bugging, and the final maturation of equipment.
- Project Management: Manage project teams to meet both tight timelines and budget constraints, including material and labor costs.
- Supplier Collaboration: Work closely with the purchasing department to identify suppliers and determine material costs for purchased components.
- Installation Support: Assist with on-site installation, commissioning, and the resolution of final customer payments as needed.
- Documentation: Oversee the creation and compilation of operator and maintenance manuals.
- Engineering Standards: Assist in the development and maintenance of engineering and product standards.
- ISO Compliance: Ensure adherence to project-related ISO documentation standards.
- Team Development: Contribute to the performance evaluations of the engineering team and take an active role in mentoring and guiding less experienced engineers.
- Education: A degree in electrical engineering or a related field is preferred.
- Experience: At least 10 years of experience in industrial automation design and implementation.
- Technical Expertise: Strong proficiency in creating and designing electrical schematics (AutoCAD Electrical preferred), along with knowledge of PLC, HMI, Robot Programming, Network & Fieldbus, and Safety Systems.
- Leadership & Collaboration: Proven team leadership experience and ability to manage cross-functional teams. Must have strong collaboration skills with machine builders, management, and support teams.

- Project Management: Demonstrated ability to manage projects effectively within challenging timelines and budgets.
- Adaptability: Ability to be flexible with educational, training, and experience requirements based on the needs of the management team.
