Our client is a global manufacturing organization serving multiple industries across the world. Due to their diverse industry base and commitment to excellence in manufacturing, they have grown rapidly in recent years. Their facility near Bryan, OH is growing and looking to add a talented Environmental Health and Safety Specialist to their team.
Main duties of the EH&S Specialist include:
Leading all plant safety and environmental initiatives
Ensuring the facility is adhering to all OSHA and EPA regulations
Develop a brand-new EH&S program aimed at reducing safety incidents, increasing safety awareness and ensuring environmental compliance
Help lead ISO facility audits
Develop Lock Out/Tag Out procedures
Lead safety and environmental investigations
Work closely with the Plant Manager on developing budgets for safety programs
Qualifications include:
BS degree in a technical field
At least 3-5 years of experience within EH&S in a manufacturing facility
Strong OSHA and EPA knowledge
Exceptional communication and leadership skills
