Digital Firmware Engineer duties include:
Design and maintain firmware to develop new products and support existing products
FPGA development for RF applications
Implement and validate firmware to successfully integrate hardware using best practices
Develop and test analog and digital firmware
Ensure hardware design and firmware comply for optimal performance
Prepare design documents, conduct testing, review code and project documentation
Work cross functionally with other engineers to ensure project specifications are met
Firmware Design Engineer Requirements
Four-year degree in Electrical Engineering field or similar
At least seven years previous experience with firmware/hardware design
Experience with digital design and FPGA development
Experience with hardware design systems
Ability to analyze results and conduct testing
Strong interpersonal skills
Key Skills – FPGA development, RF experience, digital firmware development
