Our client is a full-turnkey manufacturing supplier providing automated production systems, advanced robotics engineering, and top-of-the-line production equipment. The company was founded in the early 1970’s and has been growing ever since. Our client has operations all over the world, but is currently searching for an experienced Electrical Supervisor at their Columbus, OH facility. You will be an integral part of this production team, offered a great base salary, top-notch benefits, and the opportunity to make an immediate impact.
The current opening is for an Electrical Supervisor. Main duties include:
- Manage and coordinate the activities of wiring, installation, and repair
- Travel to customer sites across the U.S. to assist with machine installations and repair
- Supervise wiring technicians
- Ensure work is done correctly based on electrical schematics
- Set daily goals for team
- Prepare materials for wiring work, ensure inventory and components are available
- Act as the backup for the department manager as necessary
Qualifications for the Electrical Supervisor include:
- Must have high school diploma or GED
- Must be able to read electrical schematics
- Prior work experience with wiring techniques for automation systems
- Ability to manage and supervise others
- Must be able to travel to customer locations 10-20% of the time
- Strong problem-solving ability
- Excellent communication skills
