An established industrial manufacturing company is seeking a Facilities Manager to lead operations and improve equipment reliability, efficiency, and safety as part of their ongoing growth. This role offers excellent benefits and long-term career stability.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Facility Operations Management: Oversee daily maintenance and operations of systems (HVAC, electrical, plumbing, etc.), ensuring compliance with industry regulations, safety standards, and environmental guidelines.
  • Maintenance & Equipment Oversight: Supervise teams, contractors, and preventive maintenance programs to minimize downtime.
  • Health, Safety & Compliance: Ensure adherence to OSHA, EPA, and other regulatory standards. Lead safety programs and conduct routine inspections.
  • Asset & Inventory Management: Manage spare parts, manuals, and equipment using a CMMS to track work orders and maintenance history.
  • Budgeting & Cost Control: Develop and manage budgets, control costs, and negotiate vendor contracts for facility-related services.
  • Personnel Management: Lead and train facility staff, fostering a culture of safety and continuous improvement.
  • Emergency Preparedness & Response: Develop and implement emergency plans, ensuring effective disaster recovery and proper functioning of security systems.
  • Energy & Sustainability: Manage energy and resource usage, integrating sustainability initiatives.
  • Project Management: Oversee facility expansion and improvement projects, ensuring timely completion within budget.
  • Plumbing & Electrical Systems: Ensure proper operation and maintenance of plumbing and electrical systems, addressing issues promptly.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Facility Management, Engineering, or a related field.
  • 7+ years of experience in Operations or Engineering in an industrial manufacturing environment.
  • Proven leadership and team management skills aligned with company values.
