This advanced manufacturer is a global corporation who, due to the growth in their business, is looking to hire an experienced Maintenance Supervisor. This individual will enjoy the utmost job stability, competitive compensation, and the opportunity to have success and career growth.
The current opening is for a Maintenance Supervisor. Main duties include:
- Manage, develop, and train approximately 25 associates in the maintenance department
- Provide overall direction regarding training/development in the department
- Assign work, schedule manpower
- Ensure equipment is running properly, reduce or eliminate production delays and downtime
- Assist with preventive/predictive maintenance
- Assist with lean manufacturing and continuous improvement efforts
Qualifications include:
- A.S. degree in a technical field preferred, but not required in lieu of relevant work experience
- Minimum of 5+ years of experience in a similar function
- Hands-on problem-solving ability, floor-present leader
- Prior work experience training and developing others
- Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
