Our client who has been one of the most widely recognized engineering firms in the Midwest for over 70 years is experiencing tremendous growth and hoping to expand their already well-seasoned staff of over 10 professional engineers. Their most pressing need is for a Telecom Designer with building system design experience.

Responsibilities of the Telecom Designer
- Lead design efforts including voice, wireless, CATV/CCTV, Security, and data
- Perform system calculations, equipment selection, and layouts
-Conduct construction cost estimation, administration, site visits, and coordination with other disciplines.
-Serve as the primary liaison between clients and internal teams (engineers, designers, drafters) from project initiation to completion.
Requirements of the Telecom Designer
-BICSI RCDD certified
-At least 2 years’ experience designing telecommunication and similar systems for new construction and facility upgrade projects
-Excellent verbal and written communication skills
