Our client is a large tier-1 automotive supplier with manufacturing locations across North America. They have a large manufacturing and R&D facility near Dayton, OH and are currently searching for several engineers due to recent growth. You will be provided excellent benefits with full family plans that cost as low as $50 per month! Benefits start the first of the month after hire date. You will work in a team-oriented engineering, R&D, and manufacturing environment.

The current opening is for a Controls Engineer. Main duties include:
Lead and support the implementation/installation of robotic and automated equipment
Establish specifications and obtain quotes for equipment
Ensure automated equipment is installed and set up properly
Troubleshoot problems with controls and automated equipment
Optimize processes, equipment, production lines
Program PLC’s, robotics, and other automation
Qualifications include:
B.S. in Electrical Engineering or similar – experience will be considered in lieu of education
Prior work experience programming PLC’s
In addition to PLC experience, robotics set up and programming a plus
Controls experience such as sensors/camera’s
Prior work experience utilizing AutoCAD
Must have a hands-on background
Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
