Duties of the Quality Engineer include:
Ensure the quality assurance of products manufactured
Work directly with customers to determine quality issues
Perform root cause analysis of quality issues and implement necessary corrective actions
Ensure products comply with industry and customer quality standards
Complete and submit quality documentation (PPAPs, etc)
Develop and improve quality inspection standards
Monitor quality inspection data
Requirements for the Quality Engineer:
Previous Quality Assurance in experience in manufacturing
Knowledge of metal fabrication, machining, or similar processes
Strong communication skills and the ability to work well with internal employees and customers
