Job Summary:
We are seeking a full-time, on-site Accountant to support upper management by producing key financial reports, managing fixed assets, preparing tax filings, and reconciling general ledger accounts. This role also plays a key part in inventory management, audits, and budgeting, and will supervise up to five team members.
- Manage and reconcile fixed asset inventory and spending
- Perform monthly account reconciliations, including intercompany accounts
- Support bi-monthly pipe inventory reconciliations
- Assist with audits and budgeting processes
- Prepare month-end journal entries
- Prepare and file sales, use, and 1099 tax returns
- Act as a backup for other accounting roles
- Maintain clear communication with supervisors and promote a positive work environment
- Ensure compliance with company policies and safety standards
- Hire, train, and supervise departmental staff
- Provide guidance and performance evaluations to team members
- Support onboarding and training of new company hires
- Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business
- OR Associate’s degree with 10+ years of relevant experience
- OR equivalent education and experience combination
- Skills:
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles
- Proficient in Microsoft Windows and general computer literacy
- Excellent organizational, communication, and leadership skills
This is a full-time, on-site role (minimum 40 hours per week).
