Our client is a systems integrator in the Dayton, OH area. Their business is booming and they are looking to hire another Mechanical Design Engineer due to increased demand. The current opening is for a Mechanical Design Engineer. Main duties include:
- Design and development of industrial equipment and systems
- Aid in the retrofit and repair of machinery and systems
- Utilize Autodesk Inventor for machine design
- Travel to customer sites when necessary, travel is minimal
- Go on the shop floor as necessary
Qualifications include:
- B.S. in Mechanical Engineering or similar
- 3D CAD experience
- Prior work experience in machine design and equipment build
- Ability to travel to customer jobsites as necessary, travel will be minimal
- Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
- Strong mechanical aptitude
