They are seeking a talented Tooling Engineer with leadership skills who can manage projects from concept to completion. Responsibilities:
- Create mold specifications for new parts
- Partner with internal and external mold shops
- Develop preventative maintenance programs for new tooling
- Lead tooling projects from concept through completion
- Assist with technical issues during the molding process
- Design tools, molds, jigs, and fixtures using 3D CAD
- Send designs to the internal shop for production
- Evaluate external shop capabilities and coordinate builds
- Proven experience developing plastic injection tooling
- Background as a tool and die maker or mold maker, with progression into design
- Proficiency in 3D CAD design
- Strong communication skills, passion, and energy
