Quality Engineer – Summary
A manufacturing company in Zanesville, OH is seeking a Quality Engineer (BS in Engineering required) to support quality systems, drive continuous improvement, and strengthen customer satisfaction. The role focuses on managing customer complaints, leading root?cause investigations, maintaining ISO 9001 quality systems, coordinating internal audits, and supporting documentation and training processes.

- Manage customer complaint system and lead investigations
- Drive corrective actions using 5-Why, Fishbone, 8D, A3
- Support ISO 9001 QMS activities and maintain audit-ready documentation
- Coordinate and participate in internal audits; track findings to closure
- Maintain SOPs, work instructions, and document control processes
- Participate in Lean/CI events and convert improvements into standard work
Required
- Bachelor’s in Industrial, Manufacturing, or related engineering field
- Strong problem-solving, documentation, and communication skills
- Knowledge of manufacturing quality concepts; willingness to learn ISO 9001
- 1–4 years of engineering experience in manufacturing
