The Supply Chain Engineer will play a critical role in strengthening end-to-end supply chain efficiency. This position focuses on analyzing current operations, implementing optimized logistics strategies, and leveraging data and technology to reduce costs, elevate productivity, and streamline material flow.
- Optimize Supply Chain Processes: Evaluate existing supply chain workflows and identify opportunities to improve productivity and minimize operational expenses.
- Develop Logistics Strategies: Create and execute logistics plans covering transportation, warehousing, material flow, and inventory management.
- Data Driven Decision Making: Use analytical tools to interpret trends, forecast demand, and guide logistics and supply chain improvements.
- Cross Functional Collaboration: Partner with internal teams—including supply chain, logistics, and leadership—to coordinate seamless operational integration.
- Cost Benefit Analysis: Assess various logistics solutions to determine the most economical and efficient methods for moving and storing goods.
- Technology Integration: Implement and support logistics technologies, including inventory tracking systems, shipping tools, and process automation solutions.
- Documentation & Reporting: Maintain clear and accurate documentation related to logistics activities, transportation processes, and operational performance.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, logistics engineering, industrial engineering, or a related discipline.
- Analytical Strength: Ability to interpret complex data and develop innovative, practical solutions.
- Technical Know How: Knowledge of logistics software, supply chain tools, and data analysis techniques.
- Strong Communication: Clear written and verbal communication to collaborate effectively with teams and stakeholders.
- Detail Oriented: Commitment to accuracy and precision in reporting, documentation, and operational oversight.
